Dr. Zhou Weihai - Father of Natural Hirudin
Dr. Zhou Weihai, known as the "Father of Natural Hirudin" in China, is the founder and Chief Scientist of INBY. With over 20 years of research in leech therapy and natural hirudin production, he pioneered scalable breeding, advanced extraction technologies, and clinical applications.
Recognized by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and honored with China's top Innovation & Entrepreneurship Award, Dr. Zhou leads INBY's research with a mission to help prevent cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases through science-backed, high-quality hirudin products.
Dr. Liang Jianghong – Senior Medical Consultant
Dr. Liang Jianghong brings over 33 years of clinical expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Medicine, and Zhuang Ethnic Medicine. Formerly at Guangxi International Zhuang Medicine Hospital, he served as an examiner for the National Zhuang Medicine Practitioner Qualification Exam.
With international experience practicing TCM in the UK and Belgium, Dr. Liang provides critical medical guidance for the safe and effective clinical application of natural hirudin.
Dr. Liao Xiyun – Chief Medical Expert
Dr. Liao Xiyun holds a Ph.D. in Medicine from Sun Yat-sen Medical University. With early clinical experience at its First Affiliated Hospital and senior leadership roles at global medical giants (Shimadzu, Philips Healthcare, and Esaote), she brings deep knowledge in both clinical practice and medical technology.
Since 2016, Dr. Liao has focused extensively on the medical mechanisms and clinical applications of natural hirudin, strengthening INBY’s scientific foundation.
Fan ShiBin – Zhuang Medicine Expert
Fan ShiBin is the Founder and Secretary-General of the World Association of Self-Healing Medicine and President of the International Institute of Natural Hirudin Medical Research.
A former researcher at the Fourth Military Medical University, he is a leading advocate of self-healing medicine and chronic disease rehabilitation. His extensive work in health management and translational medicine adds strong clinical credibility to INBY’s natural hirudin applications.
Li HuanHua – Vice President & Base General Manager
A Chemical Engineering graduate from Guangxi University and seasoned production expert, Li HuanHua has extensive experience managing large-scale biological and chemical manufacturing.
Since 2016, he has played a pivotal role in building INBY’s industrial chain. He led the construction of China’s first natural hirudin extraction and purification production line and developed multiple functional hirudin products, ensuring consistent quality and scalability.
Dr. Huang MingXian – Biotechnology Expert
Dr. Huang MingXian is an overseas high-level talent under China’s prestigious “Thousand Talents Program.” He holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Brigham Young University (USA) and completed postdoctoral research at Indiana University.
As a Distinguished Professor at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, his expertise in biological separation, purification, and biomedical materials has been instrumental in advancing INBY’s extraction technology and product quality to international standards.
